BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147263 · Sep 2015 · also written SI B64 06 15, B640615

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

IHKA - Blower Runs in Emergency Mode. The next time the vehicle is started there may be the CCM (Check control message) displayed for ""Increased battery discharge"". CAUSE The blower output stage receives an invalid LIN bus signal during operation and switches to emergency mode.
