Air conditioning rattle on BMW G20/G21/E90/E92 and other models (2007–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10218378 · Jun 2022 · also written SI B64 05 21, B640521
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Vibrations are felt in the driver's footwell.
