SIB 65 05 22: Bluetooth service information
Bluetooth service information on BMW G05/G07 models (2019–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10227569 · Oct 2022 · also written SI B65 05 22, B650522
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
The incorrect Bluetooth module was installed in the headunit. Bluetooth functionality cannot be guaranteed, and mobile phones may possibly not be paired via Bluetooth.
