SIB 65 17 24: Key fob service information

Key fob service information on BMW G20/G22/G23/G26 models (2023); BMW shared service information.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11005242 · Jul 2024 · also written SI B65 17 24, B651724

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

It is not possible to complete the setup of the BMW Digital Key function in the vehicle with a smartphone. The main digital key cannot be paired using the My BMW App.
