SIB 65 21 24: Navigation service information
Navigation service information on BMW G05/G06/G07/G09 and other models (2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11008120 · Sep 2024 · also written SI B65 21 24, B652124
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
When the navigation app is opened in the vehicle, the navigation map is not displayed. Instead, the navigation loading screen is shown on a constant loop and the message "Navigation starts" is displayed.
