Emergency call system fault codes on BMW E60/E82/E90/E92 and other models (2012–2014); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10149617 · May 2013 · also written SI B84 05 13, B840513

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

TCB: Emergency Call Is Erroneously Triggered. An emergency call is erroneously made with no input from the driver.
