Central display fault codes on BMW E60/E82/E90/E92 and other models (2011–2017); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10151274 · Apr 2016 · also written SI B84 07 15, B840715

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

SOS Malfunction Is Displayed In Kombi Sporadically. After engine start-up, a CCM (Check Control Message) for SOS malfunction is displayed in the Kombi and in the CID (Central Information Display).
