What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

SNAP-IN ADAPTER IS ERRONEOUSLY LISTED AS MEDIA/RADIO EQUIPMENT. The Snap-In Adapter is displayed as installed Media/Radio equipment by the Head Unit although it is not (obsolete as of 7/2017). Head unit software error.
