NHTSA 10059011: Transmission leak

Transmission leak on BMW E84/E92/E93/F30 and other models (2013–2016); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10059011 · Jun 2015

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

On the transmission side, there is a transmission fluid leak around the oil cooler lines.
