NHTSA 10150125: Wheels noise

Wheels noise on BMW E60/F01/F02/F07 and other models (2010–2013); BMW gives an adjustment procedure.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10150125 · Mar 2013

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The noise can be heard during the warm up phase (3 to 10 mins) after the heating system is first activated, with low outside temperatures and the center vents stratification adjustment wheel is turned to the ""red"" position.
