SIB 12 10 21: Electrical system bolt torque check

Electrical system bolt torque check on BMW G01/G20/G30/F97 and other models (2017–2022); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10228426 · Nov 2022 · also written SI B12 10 21, B121021

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Due to an unfavorable operating point, primarily in the low-end torque range, an incorrect detection of amixture that is too rich could happen.
