What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Service Action: Program control units (DME data status). The high-voltage battery's life may be reduced when charging the high-voltage battery while the vehicle is in motion. AFFECTED VEHICLES Certain VINs (not all) produced between August 7, 2015 and April 19, 2016.
