What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

CM ""Engine fault! Power loss"" and/or ""Battery charging fault!"". Upon unlocking or starting the vehicle, one or both of the following Check Control messages (CCM) are displayed to the customer: ""Engine fault! Power loss"" (CCM-ID: 29) ""Battery charging fault!"" (CCM-ID: 213).
