BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11027764 · Jan 2026 · also written SI B32 01 26, B320126

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

When turning left, a “creaking” noise may be heard from the EPS when near the steering wheel end stop. The noise occurs at speeds less than 10 mph.
