Steering fault codes on BMW G01/G02/F97/F98 models (2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11015552 · Mar 2025 · also written SI B32 03 25, B320325
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Customer states that the steering wheel heating is inoperative. Fault code “30490 Missing LIN slave” is stored in Body Domain Controller.
