Steering noise on BMW G60/G70/I20 models (2024–2025); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11031564 · Apr 2026 · also written SI B32 03 26, B320326
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
“Groaning” noise from the EPS when the steering wheel is at the end stops.
