SIB 33 03 16: Strut service information
Strut service information on BMW F87 models (2016–2018); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10151360 · Jun 2016 · also written SI B33 03 16, B330316
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
SERVICE ACTION: REWORK SCREW CONNECTION FOR V-STRUT CROSSBEAM. The two outer screws fitted for the V-strut crossbeam under the vehicle are too long.
