SIB 34 02 23: Brakes squeak
Brakes squeak on BMW G01/G02/F97/F98 models (2018–2023); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10238072 · May 2023 · also written SI B34 02 23, B340223
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Brake squeak may occur with cold brakes and driving slowly or reversing
