BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10171491 · Jan 2020 · also written SI B51 03 20, B510320
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
WATER RUNS OUT OF DRIVER'S DOOR WHEN OPENING: If the vehicle is parked on an incline (front higher than the rear) water may not be able to flow out of the door. Upon opening the door water may flow out rapidly. The collected water does not run inside the car.
