SIB 51 06 23: Air bags software update
Air bags software update on BMW G05/G06/G07/G09 and other models (2019–2023); BMW released a software update.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10236228 · Apr 2023 · also written SI B51 06 23, B510623
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
The hazard light (aka emergency flasher) button gets stuck in the ON or OFF position when actuated.
