Door rattle on BMW F22/F23/F87 models (2014–2018); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10145333 · Jul 2018 · also written SI B51 14 18, B511418
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
RATTLE NOISE FROM DOOR WHEN CLOSING: A rattle or buzzing sound may be heard from either door when closing.
