BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10148118 · Jul 2014 · also written SI B51 15 14, B511514

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Service Action: Replace Center Console Lock Cylinder. The center console lock cylinder is loose. Manufacturing tolerances of the center console lock cover cap may cause it to become loose or missing.
