SIB 51 18 18: Doors will not completely latch
Doors will not completely latch on BMW G01/G02/G30/G31 and other models (2017–2020); BMW gives an adjustment procedure.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10179816 · Aug 2020 · also written SI B51 18 18, B511818
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
DOORS WILL NOT COMPLETELY LATCH: One or more doors will not completely latch or will open to the first stage at times. The door lock strikers may be misadjusted.
