What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Grating/Grinding Noise from the Center Console. A grating noise can be heard coming from the left front side of the front console trim panel, where it meets the instrument panel, especially when driving on rough roads. CAUSE Insufficient gap clearance between the console trim and the instrument panel.
