What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
SERVICE ACTION: LEFT SIDE DOORS MAY NOT OPEN FROM OUTSIDE. Left side doors (front and/or rear) may not be able to be opened from the outside. Bowden cable may twist and come loose from the bracket on the outside door handle support.
