BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11006735 · Aug 2024 · also written SI B52 05 24, B520524

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A rattling noise can be heard emanating from the area of the rear seat backrest of the second row ofseats. The noise does not occur when the rear seat backrest is folded down.
