SIB 52 07 22: Seat warning message

Seat warning message on BMW G07 models (2019–2022); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10227554 · Oct 2022 · also written SI B52 07 22, B520722

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

When turning off the vehicle, a Check Control Message (CCM) for "rear occupant alert, check rear seats" is displayed in the instrument cluster.
