Seat noise on BMW G60 models (2025); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11034461 · Jun 2026 · also written SI B52 07 25, B520725

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The decorative trims on the head restraints ofthe driver’s seat and front passenger seatcause groaning noises on any route, at anytemperature, even in a slightly reclinedposition.
