BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10179002 · Jul 2020 · also written SI B54 01 20, B540120
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
SERVICE ACTION - CHECK SUNROOF SEALING: The sunroof frame may not have been properly sealed, causing a water leak into the vehicle. Improper sealing during production.
