BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10170583 · Dec 2019 · also written SI B54 15 19, B541519
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
GROANING NOISE FROM SUNROOF: A groaning noise is present from the sunroof glass panel while driving over rough road surfaces or during body flex. The noise may also be present while the sunroof is opening into the vented position.
