What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
THE DISPLAY GOES BLACK, THE ENGINE CAN BE SWITCHED OFF ONLY VIA THE EMERGENCY-OFF.. * On board computer and navigation system goes black or resets. * The engine can only be switched off by pressing the START/STOP button three times (Emergency STOP) * Various Check Control messages are displayed.
