SIB 61 21 23: Steering service information

Steering service information on BMW G42/E84/F22/F23 and other models (2013–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10245376 · Nov 2023 · also written SI B61 21 23, B612123

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The steering wheel heating takes a long time to achieve the desired temperature.
