Battery service information on BMW G01/G05/G11/G12 and other models (2016–2021); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10200239 · Jun 2021 · also written SI B61 24 20, B612420

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Some of the vehicles listed above which were initially identified as requiring Recall Campaign 20V-601 - HIGH VOLTAGE BATTERY to be performed and completed are now no longer included in this Recall.
