Flickering lights- interior and exterior on BMW G11/G12 models (2016–2018); BMW released a software update.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10145346 · Jul 2018 · also written SI B63 01 18, B630118
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
FLICKERING LIGHTS- INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR: Intermittently the interior and/or exterior lights are flickering or flashing and there is no audio function.
