SIB 63 05 21: Ambient light tube color differences
Ambient light tube color differences on BMW G01/G02/F97/F98 models (2018–2021); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10194309 · Apr 2021 · also written SI B63 05 21, B630521
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
AMBIENT LIGHT TUBE COLOR DIFFERENCES: The intensity or light throughout the door panel lighting strips is not consistent. Some spots are brighter than others.
