What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Active Headlight Control Malfunction in Both Headlights. AHL (Active Headlight Control) malfunctions on both sides. Both lights aim either up or down while driving. Fault Code 8041B6 is present. Broken mounting bolt holding on the rear height sensor bracket.
