Front left/right indicator light failed on BMW F01/F02 models (2009–2011); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.

What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
Front left/right indicator light failed. When activating the turn signals, a check control (cc) message front right/left indicator light failed, is displayed. At same time, a fault is stored in footwell module (FRM3); either fault code 800F42 for the left side or 800F43 for the right side.
