Air conditioning leak on BMW E82/E88/E90/E92 and other models (2007–2008); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10031544 · Sep 2009 · also written SI B64 05 09, B640509

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Water leaks into either the driver's side or passenger's side footwell during fast cornering.
