SIB 65 07 09: Navigation system - reporting missing or incorrect roadmap data

Navigation system - reporting missing or incorrect roadmap data on BMW G01/G02/G05/G06 and other models (2006–2021); the fix is replacing the affected part.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10179009 · Jul 2020 · also written SI B65 07 09, B650709

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

NAVIGATION SYSTEM - REPORTING MISSING OR INCORRECT ROADMAP DATA: Do not replace parts and do not program the vehicle. Roads can change by up to 15% every year. To ensure the best navigation experience, we do everything in our power to create the best maps.
