SIB 64 10 19: Warning message

Warning message on BMW F25/F26 models (2011–2017); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10169471 · Nov 2019 · also written SI B64 10 19, B641019

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

SERVICE ACTION: OPTIMIZING THE WATER DRAIN. The water drain in the engine compartment's passenger side cowl near the firewall may be inadequate during exceptionally high water volumes. Water can accumulate and not drain out quickly enough.
