BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10150387 · Dec 2012 · also written SI B65 16 12, B651612

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Headunit-High: Navigation System Cannot Be Activated. The navigation system cannot be activated when entering the 20-digit INITIAL enabling code manually. This occurs after the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) for the vehicle was already performed and finished.
