Mirror warning message on BMW E60/F07/F10 models (2011–2016); BMW released a software update.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10147037 · Aug 2016 · also written SI B66 13 16, B661316

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Erroneous Blind Spot Warnings. Orange triangle warning indicator, on exterior mirror, sporadically appears when there is no vehicle in warning zone. Control unit software error.
