SIB 72 04 23: Seat service information
Seat service information on BMW G09 models (2023–2024); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.
BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10247575 · Dec 2023 · also written SI B72 04 23, B720423
What it covers
A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.
The safety belt buckles at the rear seat outer locations are facing the wrong way due to the belt being twisted behind the C-pillar cover.
