SIB 84 03 26: Telematics unit failure

Telematics unit failure on BMW I01/I12/I15 models (2020); BMW repairs affected cars free under a service campaign.

BMW service campaign · NHTSA ID 11035409 · Jul 2026 · also written SI B84 03 26, B840326

What it covers

A service campaign is a fix BMW performs free on affected cars. Ask a BMW center whether it is open on your VIN.

Once the Telematics Module (TCB2) enters sleep mode, a BMW Data Services trigger for Remote Services(remote engine start, lock/unlock/climate conditioning) will not be able to reactivate the TCB2. Due to this issue, Remote Services will not function in the vehicle when parked and locked.
