NHTSA 10059010: Software warning message

Software warning message on B38 engines (2015); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10059010 · Jun 2015

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

The check control message "drive check" is showing in the cc according to customer complains.
