What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

INFORMATION Note: Failures that result from the installation of non-approved accessories and/or non-original parts are not covered. Procedure A with Reprogramming and Encoding the Vehicle Covered under the terms of the BMW New Vehicle/SAV Limited Warranty or the BMW Certified Pre-Owned Program.
