NHTSA 10162434: Navigation service information

Navigation service information on BMW E70/E71/E82/E84 and other models (2007–2013); BMW shared service information.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10162434 · Jul 2019

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Service Action: CIC - Install Navigation Road Map Database 2013. Before delivering affected vehicles to the customer, the Car Information Computer (CIC) road map database 2013 must be installed onto the CIC internal Hard Disc Drive (HDD).
