Water pump no-start on N63 engines (2013); BMW gives an inspection and repair procedure.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 10149226 · May 2017 · also written SI B12 05 17, B120517

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

N63T - CHECK ENGINE LIGHT (MIL) ON AFTER A HOT ENGINE RESTART. The check engine light (MIL) may come on after a hot engine restart. When this happens the engine may have a longer cranking time before starting.
