What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

Engine: Fault Code 4823FC. Page 1 of 2 October 2014 Technical Service When starting the engine, the yellow EPS warning lamp may briefly light up. The power assist may also be reduced during this process. A brief undervoltage occurs in the EPS when starting the engine.
