SIB 34 07 25: Axle noise

Axle noise on BMW G09/G60/G70 models (2023–2025); BMW explains the cause and the approved repair.

BMW service bulletin · NHTSA ID 11019564 · Jun 2025 · also written SI B34 07 25, B340725

What it covers

A service bulletin tells BMW technicians how to diagnose or fix a known issue. It is not a recall: a repair under a bulletin is normally paid by the owner unless the car is still under warranty or a warranty extension applies.

A loud “click”- type noise can be heard from the rear axle brakes when driving off forwards, and/or in reverse.
